Mary's first birthday had a cupcke theme. Mary actually had her own oversized cupcake to dive into.
Hayden helped open presents.
When Mary was born, the brother of my friend, Maggie was in town. Matt always visits Maggie the first part of August. The night before she was born, we all went out to eat and Matt made the comment that he would meet Mary on his next visit. Evidently, Mary wanted to meet Matt sooner than he planned. It is now tradition for Matt to attend her birthday party.
