Doctor's Visit

We took Mary to the doctor last Thursday and she weighed in at 6lbs., 13oz. I was sure that she weighed more than that. I can't believe that she is almost 8 weeks old and we have almost reached her due date. God obviously had a different plan for her early arrival. I think it may have been just to knock me out of my comfort zone. Mary is trying really hard to turn over. She amazes me everyday. Hayden is definitely jealous, but handling her new sister very well. We finally tool the bed rails off of Hayden's bed and so far, she has not landed on her head. I will keep everyone posted. Our family is truly blessed. I am having such a hard time even thinking about leaving them and going back to work. If we could only win the lottery. Here are a few updated pictures.Hayden & Granny

One Month

I can't believe that Mary is already a month old. Here are some of the latest pictures.

Mary seems to really enjoy her swing. I need to post some pictures of Hayden at the same age like Nicole did. They look exactly the same to me. I would have a hard time telling which one is which. The only difference to me is that Mary is smaller.

Hayden at the playground in our neighborhood:

My sister gave her this bodysuit. It cracks me up. It is amazing how many people ask if a baby is a boy, regardless of how much pink she has on.

Aunt Regina and Mary:

Hayden had to have her picture taken since Mary was having hers made.

Jason thought that I was so cruel for taking this picture. Mary is actually in Hayden's baby doll's stroller. I couldn't resist putting her in it.

Our First Week at Home

It has been a great first week at home. Mary went to the pediatrician on Wednesday and she weighed in at 5 lbs., 8 oz. What can we say, our girl loves to eat. Hayden seems to love having a little sister. She is very protective of her and always tells us to "be careful" whenever anyone touches her. The Lambs came for a visit on Labor Day and Mimi & Grandpa came to visit over the weekend as well. Here are a few pictures from our week and by a few, I mean a ton of pictures.

Leaving the hospital:

Mary's temporary bassinet (we bought it on Wednesday and it was recalled by the manufacturer and had to be returned on Monday):
